Phon Samoa is an expansive open area that serves many purposes. It is the gateway to the entirety of “Pa Na Kham Hom,” encompassing the parking area, guest check-in, and the breakfast area for overnight guests. On Saturdays and Sundays, it also opens as a café for visitors.
The front section sits at the forest’s edge—a shared space where humans and nature share the space. From here, you can see a blend of native forest trees alongside cultivated food crops. Beyond this point begins the original forest, where no non-native species are planted to ensure the existing plant community remains undisturbed. We keep only a small forest path, just enough for visitors to walk in—so humans can learn, observe, and coexist with the forest.
Pa Na Kham Hom Cafe offers food and beverages for all visitors. It is a small storefront with an unassuming menu, yet one filled with deep attention to ingredients. We serve coffee from quality Thai beans sourced from a roastery we trust, and authentic Thai chocolate that has earned world-class awards. Sweetness comes from a mix of palm sugar from Southern Thailand, house-made syrups, regular syrup and honey—with no condensed milk. Blended and soda drinks are made with seasonal organic ingredients we grow ourselves.
From our small kitchen, we serve comforting meals—featuring organic rice from our paddy fields and often homegrown vegetables, in amounts that naturally change with the seasons.
Located along the forest edge, Phon Khoi is surrounded by lawns at both the front and back—a perfect balance of dappled shade from the tree canopy and refreshing openness. It’s well suited for a wide range of small-group activities, such as exhibitions, talks, meetings, trainings, group facilitation sessions, film screenings, or intimate wellness classes.
